Didn’t they try to sell us Brexit on the basis that our children would be conscripted into a non existent EU army if we didn’t leave the EU? Now we’ve left the EU, why are they conscripting our children into the army?

Rachel Reeves is a decent speaker. But her arguments in this in Europe are simply not cogent.

She says no SM because her constituency is opposed to FOM.

No CU because it wouldn't remove checks, but argues that a veterinary agreement would.

Well said. I've kept the EU Rejoiner fight going for 8 long years & hearing such wise words from a British cinematographic icon like Hugh Grant is very reassuring. I've often been tempted to throw in the towel but my children's future always brought me back to EU Rejoiner table.
