Our design for the Formlabs Impact Award was inspired by our work on vascular networks for 3D-printed organs. Intricate branching fluidic networks printed inside a clear block reveal the Formlabs logo when injected with contrasting resin n-e-r-v-o-u-s.com/blog/?p=9274

I originally took this photo illustrating stereographic projection in 2014. Soon after, someone attached a click-bait caption to the image, and it has been bouncing around the internet ever since. Here, I explain what the image is really about.

I've become somewhat obsessed with the patterns made from stretching straight lines across a circle, better known as string art. Simple rules can yield beautiful patterns and reveal hidden math.

I gave a talk at Denison University last month. Moriah Aberle was in the audience and told their roommate Nicky Sherrick about our The Dice Lab Skew Dice. Nicky then made this big ceramic version! I'm told that it's not very roll-able, but it looks great!
