I hope other parties take up the policy held by Queensland Progressives to replace police as first responders to FDV calls and welfare checks. They are not appropriately trained and more often than not aren't trusted by victims.

With the focus on policy to combat the crisis of men's violence against women, we call on Steven Miles and David Crisafulli to support our evidence based initiatives. Replacing police as first responders to FDV in particular has been noted by front line groups as needed.
