We started working on a collection of powerful composition utilities for Svelte 5! The most valuable one at the moment being `box`, which makes slinging state across boundaries a breeze.

Typescript 5.5 is a huge one - so many QOL improvements, and performance got better in areas that will directly impact the Svelte IDE extension. Can't wait!

Svelte devs! I want to get back to my roots and make more Svelte content 😊 I'm curious to hear your experiences, what aspects of SvelteKit are you finding tricky? Any particular struggles with hosting on Vercel?

Hunter and friends have been early adopters of Svelte 5 and have given us great feedback on what works and what doesn't. Keep an eye out for Bits UI!

Alex just released his amazing sleek–dark website tutorial for @Sveltejs! The Next.js version was a massive hit, and Alex took all the feedback from that one to make this one even better.

Tbh this is some of the best webdev content out there today.

When you create a new SvelteKit project, it now uses eslint 9, which means no more .cjs files! Thanks to Jeremiasz Major for upgrading the entire Svelte ecosystem to eslint v9.
