Abruptly moving large numbers of people with few resources and no work into a new country with a very different culture, and way overstretched housing & public services, is a reckless and dangerous social experiment, and a very misguided attempt at humanitarianism.

4 THINGS THE IRISH GOVT DOESN'T GET ABOUT IMMIGRATION

1. Immigration must be adapted to hosting capacity
2. You can't outsource immigration policy
3. Local citizens must be consulted about decisions affecting them

Highly biased report that assumes the following plausible beliefs are “false”:

1. The Covid vaccines are not safe & effective
2. Groups of scientists manipulate evidence

As Prof Norman Fenton points out, in March 2020 not only did The Times and The Sunday Times promote misinformation about AZ vaccine safety (“no hint of increased risk of blood clots”!) & effectiveness (“100% effective”!!), it actively campaigned against vaccine safety questions even being raised.

Sadhbh O’Neill: Any drift towards the right could be disastrous for Europe’s climate agenda

- Very little sympathy here for the harm overly zealous climate regulations can do to farmers & ordinary low- to moderate-income citizens.
