Looka here. Some of these fests find Black representation only through rappers or R&B groups. Others completely leave out anyone who isn’t white/straight. So when we ask the audience why they don’t feel comfortable at these festivals, the lineups are one of the reasons.

Evidently she has missed all the previous “conversations” that resulted in zero change.

The numbers are dire for Country Music Association awards for Black artists but let’s not forget Charley Pride won Entertainer of the Year in 1971 and Male Vocalist in 1971 and 1972.
