For almost one year, the Hungarian government is preparing its EU Council Presidency in a format that is called Presidency Trio (together with Belgium and Spain).

Unlike Hungarian claims about 'readiness' might indicate, it is not going very well apparently 👇

I find this number impressive. Especially when considering the state of media freedom in Hungary.

Nationalist & far right politicians across EU are selling our democracies😡

Too many examples of those 'defenders of the nation' cozying up with undemocratic foreign governments like Russia & China.

Because no one followed up on the European Parliaments offer to suspend this nightmare.
