We are now accepting applications for Cohort 11.0 of our Cornerstones program! Cornerstones is a BESE-approved accelerated CDA program that utilizes online course content, weekly webinars, and coaching allowing early childhood professionals, no matter their location.

Our advocacy team at The Center is all set and excited for Louisiana's Legislative 2024 session! Louisiana has made strides in education, but there is still room to grow! Let's continue to make Louisiana a better and brighter home for our kids!

Our Louisiana Reads! program teamed up with the Academy Ascend Education Workshop this past Thursday. Families joined our team for an enriching session on 'Unlocking Literacy: Empowering Parents to Support Their Child's Literacy Journey.'

This past weekend The Center's Louisiana Reads! team headed to Tulane University for Family Day at The New Orleans Book Festival! Families were provided with information on our free digital resources and engaged in fun literacy games.

One of The Center's Literacy & Learning Early Childhood Specialists, Julie Brandt, conducted walkthroughs during a coaching session with Caldwell's Early Childhood Literacy Coach to discuss areas of growth.

Two of The Center's Literacy Specialists took a trip to Wyoming to provide Lit Academy training for educators in the Converse County School District. They provided collaborative & application-based sessions focused on implementing the science of reading literacy plans.

Louisiana Reads partnered with Rougon Elementary to host their Books with Breakfast Event with a free book distribution.

The Center's Early Childhood Team headed to Brusly Elementary Head Start last week to demonstrate best practices with modeling through our Early Childhood Coaching program.

The Center's President, DeJunne' Clark Jackson presented the Leap into Literacy Symposium hosted by Amplify on Leap Day. This free event was dedicated to a few leaders in literacy to provide practical strategies and resources for every type of learner.
