Last year was a great year for the Choptank. The river received 'B' grade for water quality & living resources. It also experienced “once in a generation” oyster spawning success & an increase in submerged aquatic vegetation.

#TributaryTuesday The Nanticoke River flows for 64 miles through Delaware and Maryland which are both Bay watershed states. Much of the river is protected by state parks, wildlife refuges and natural heritage landmarks. Check out some of their sites⤵️
