In today's NHS, pressures mean 9 in 10 nurses worked when they were ill to plug gaps and hold services together. That same workforce can't simply be expected to keep doing more.

This is not okay.

Nurses are so dedicated and hospitals are so short staffed that 9 in 10 Nurse work when ill.

The pressure to not take time off is so real. And the stress and pressure so high.

Still the government refuses to address safe staffing and the nursing crisis.

Nhs worker here and proud rainbow lanyard wearer. Its important as I work in Sexual Health and its been mentioned more than a few times by service users that it makes them feel safe and welcomed to see it
