I remember feeling forced to post my diagnosis publicly only because a grown adult who learned about it violated my privacy and began telling others. I cannot STAND the monarchy, but no one deserves cancer... and no one with cancer should feel forced to disclose their disease.

Crossing the border without authorization in order to seek asylum is not against the law. The assumption that it is illegal to do so stems from an ignorance about basic U.S. law, compounded by the influence of racist rhetoric that characterizes discourse about migrants.

Really feel some kind of way of being told to go back to Mexico, where I'm not even from, and being illegal by someone who himself has been criminalized and has an extensive record.

The forest: Biden's party cheers on a bill that needlessly increases surveillance, further criminalizes asylum-seekers, and makes it normal to shut down the border; legislation that codifies the same Trump practices that Democrats previously decried are now celebrated.

Referring to people crossing the border without authorization as 'illegals' is not only inaccurate, it's deeply racist and offensive.
