The situation of Rohingya IDPs from Buthidaung is worse. They are facing severe shortage of food and clean water. Things are very expensive. Their movement is also restricted in a very limited space. It is crucial to help them in any feasible way.

Every single “peace building” project in Arakan predicated on the notion that conflict there is “communal,” or a somehow just a big misunderstanding, is a waste of time and energy.
