Councillor Billy Drummond has been elected as the Chairman of West Berkshire Council for the coming year.

He will be supported in his role by the Vice Chairman, Councillor Tony Vickers.

The new facility for children with social, emotional and mental health needs at Kennet Valley Primary School, Calcot, is taking shape!

Almost £3 million has been invested in this space which will provide places for twelve children, starting with the first six this September.

Each council will verify the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner ballot papers in their local count centre. They will report their results to the Police Area Returning Officer in Newbury who will announce the results on 4 May.
