We must honor the lives lost 2 years ago today in Uvalde by ending the public health crisis that is gun violence. Latinos are 2x more likely to die by gun homicide. It's no surprise nearly 1/3 of Latino voters ranked gun violence a top issue in our recent polling.

We visited Proyecto Inmigrante in Texas to learn about how cooperation and advocacy for federal funds are vital to their success in helping immigrants. This collaborative approach exemplifies our ongoing work with our #AffiliatesUnidos and their commitment to serving their communities.

We need immigration solutions: humane border management, rules promoting legal migration, and relief for the long-term undocumented. The Border Act facing a vote in the Senate today does none of this. We must advance real solutions that fix our broken immigration system.
