Good News🎉! AMRITSAR Airport is all set to get direct connectivity to a new destination: DEHRADUN by Alliance Air!

Amritsar Airport is now truly a gateway to the Hill Stations with direct flighs✈️ from Amritsar to Kullu/Manali, Shimla, Dharamshala, Srinagar and Dehradun

IndiGo will become the second airline to connect Hyderabad to Amritsar.

From March 31, the airline will operate daily A320 flights.

Currently, Air India Express operates daily B737 MAX flights on this route.

Connecting Biryani with Kulche! Starting 30th March, IndiGo will be starting direct daily flights between Amritsar & Hyderabad.

HYD🛬- 8:05

-This makes IndiGo, the 2nd airline to fly direct on the route after Air India Express

Due to a surge in demand, IndiGo has temporarily added extra flights between Delhi and Amritsar.

Between February 24th and 29th, the airline will operate an additional daily flight connecting both cities.

This is the 5th daily flight on this route.

Italian Airline 'Neos' says:
-From April 2024, we will increase our operations even more from Amritsar in terms of frequency of flights.

-As of now, no plans to start flights to any other destination in India

-Focus will be to tap the full potential of Amritsar's market

Update: In spite of this news being circulated in the media, Lodha Group is itself clarifying now that it has no relation with this news.

Lodha Group has announced its plans to open a luxury hotel in Amritsar (along with some other cities).

This might indirectly indicate opening up of 'The Leela Palace' in Amritsar
