We have finished off the day with a useful presentation on Oxford’s Atom Probe Tomography from Christina Hofer. Followed by an overview of Nuclear Waste Services & the plans for a GDF in the UK from Kat Rianes.

Day 2 is off to a cracking start (pun intended), with talks on measuring residual stresses in AGR fuel cladding, peridynamic modeling of oxidation of zircaloy, and synchrotron tomography of stress corrosion cracking from an in-situ tensile corrosion experiment 💡💻
