Talk about an epic public health failure (& for a vaccine that didn't even prevent people from getting or transmitting covid!)
So many physicians (myself included) opposed these mandates from the beginning & we were ignored by people who now won't admit they were wrong!

Great interview. I love the discussion about how a physician's ethical obligation ultimately should lie w/their individual patients & not the state- this gets to the heart of why AB-2098 was a bad law. Glad our Høeg v Newsom lawsuit destroyed it (for now).

For injuries from the Covid vaccines, it's actually the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) & not VICP that would compensate for injury (obviously not VAERS, which is a passive safety surveillance system)... though I understand they almost never do.

A 2-party (un?)democracy will always pull opinions into two extremes, whereas a multi-party system rewards centrists.

Public radio should remain neutral/centrist despite this.
