Today marks the 15th Anniversary of the Mullivaikkal Genocide and the second Tamil Genocide Remembrance Day.

Let us acknowledge the tireless advocacy of the Tamil diaspora worldwide, and stand together in solidarity. seeking justice for the victims and their families.

On this International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, amidst a global rise in hate, we reaffirm our commitment to 2SLGBTQI+ communities worldwide.

Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive, and equal Canada for everyone.

Farmers put great food on Canadians' tables.

Proud to welcome Marc Miller ᐅᑭᒫᐃᐧᐅᓃᐸᐄᐧᐤᐃᔨᐣ to Kitchener-Conestoga for a roundtable with farmers & stakeholders to discuss temporary foreign workers' contributions to our agriculture & agri-food workforce + how to best support them & the program.

More than 20 years ago, the Child Witness Centre was formed.

Since then, this organization has supported thousands of young survivors and their families.

This week, I had the opportunity to visit their space in Kitchener and deliver remarks on behalf of the Minister of Justice.

If one kid goes hungry in our community, that is one too many.

That's why organizations like Food4KidsWR are so vital for our community. They provide kids with healthy meals—in a discreet way—so they can get the nutrition they need.

Now that's worth celebrating!

Today, we wear Vyshyvankas to show our support for Ukrainians, who continue to demonstrate remarkable resiliency and courage.

Canada will always stand with Ukraine as they fight for their sovereignty and the democratic values that our countries share.
