My emergency surgery wounds have finally closed up. It has taken a long, long time. Scars, but they tell a story and therefore a history. I am grateful to everyone who took such good care of me in the hospital and at my GP.

After being so poorly for the past few months I am really looking forward to getting to Birmingham for DWAS ONLINE in a couple of weeks. Anyone coming too? No public transport to worry about thanks to a very kind person driving and offering me a lift.

My appointment today has been cancelled! Staff sickness so rescheduled until next week. You can’t help illness but now I have to get psyched up all over again.

It always seems I post bad things so I am so sorry about this. Do you know where one can purchase a full body transplant?

At least I already take most of recommended medications for other reasons but need venesection and perhaps something else.

Why does my body always manifest the rare conditions? I did not luck out on the gene lottery lol

Have a haematology consultation tomorrow. Somewhat nervous as I have been diagnosed with polycythaemia severe enough to require treatment. Could be a number of causes but my haematocrit is 0.57 (for my haematology friends) which is somewhat suggestive.
