Congrats to the Baler softball players named PCAL Gabilan all-league: Mia Phillps is MVP & earned 1st-team honors; Madeline Bermudez & Dom Oliveira earned 1st-team nods; Grace Peffley & Johnny Casarez named to the 2nd team; Avery Chavez makes the league's sportsmanship team.

Baler junior Golda Demby, the CCS shot put & discus champion, finished 4th in the state in the shot put at last weekend's CIF State Track and Field Championships in Clovis. Hannah Vincent, pictured on the medal stand at the CCS meet, finished 12th in the state in the triple jump.

During Tuesday's San Benito High School District Board of Trustees meeting, Superintendent Dr. Shawn Tennenbaum thanked Layla Borges for her service as the student board representative this school year & he introduced next year’s student rep to the board, Olivia Picha.

Hollister High School Principal Kevin Medeiros reported that Baler STRONG recognition was presented to Special Ed. Instructional Aide Adria Deegan, Special Ed. Teacher Miguel Soto, CTE Agriculture Teacher Chelsi Soares & Christi Enfantino & the Cold Storage CrossFit Community.
