Nicholas Emmanuele alison stone Same here, my time was cut by 20% and it isn't just one thing but I used to do this great biology, sign language cross over, where we looked at worm homes. Now there just is not time to practice and then have the excursion. I really miss it.

I had to laugh. One of my year 7s, call him 'man' is obsessed with signing 'drugs'. In interpreter he pulls out his favourite sign and nearly knocks out half the class, eventually winning. It just goes to show that communication and a big vocabulary, does involve listening!

Funny how game names change. I called this Knockout, but never did the kids. They called it Interpreter, or bye bye, or even toodles. So, clearly it meant more to them. Welcome Interpreter, Bye, Bye.

I was carded/ checked for age, at pubs until I was 30, then suddenly I wasn't any more. Sad day.
The other day someone thought I was 48, and as I was feeling perky (and not in pain), it brought back all the joy that carding did. Age is a feeling these days.
