With frequent accidents taking place in West Garo hills district, especially with the regular movement of dumpers, because of the ongoing construction works, I have asked the DC West Garo hills to conduct awareness campaign on road safety with different stakeholders holders.

The NEET exams are conducted by central agency namely the National Testing Agency (NTA). In regards to the concerns on the recent exams conducted in different parts of the state, the matter is being taken up with the concerned central agency.

Due to strong winds and heavy rains in some parts of the State many houses have been damaged. Have asked administration to immediately provide relief.

Had meeting with UNICEF delegation, led by Dr. Madhulika Jonathan, Chief of Field Office Assam and North East States. The meeting outlined interventions for collaboration between Meghalaya and UNICEF to bolster early childhood development programmes.
