It's horrific to see these scenes. Lib Dems very clear that a Rafah offensive should not happen. The potential for yet more humanitarian disaster is far too great and Palestinians in Gaza simply have nowhere else to go.

My pals in the British Army don’t want a return to National Conscription. They want more well-trained soldiers, properly paid, properly equipped. We need to put up pay across the Armed Forces and bring the British Army back to 100,000 strong.

Forcing people to go private has been the goal of this government from the start; using taxpayers money to pay Tory Party donors. Back the campaign to give the NHS the staff it needs.

Tackling climate change is the right thing to do and has market benefits.

In the dwindling days of a govt with no ideas, Sunak's rowing back on climate ambition may be another attempt at a wedge issue. Ultimately future generations will suffer from this short-sightedness.
