Sands delivered bereavement training to 46 healthcare professionals at AMH & Dr Gray's Hospital last week.
These training days provide professionals with the knowledge and skills to help them feel more confident when caring for bereaved families.

Today 2 befrienders from Aberdeen and 1 from Moray Sands attended a study day run by Child Bereavement UK | Scotland
It was a very informative day on how to help support men cope with grief.
We were joined by 2 bereavement midwifes NHS Grampian Sands provided them with funding to attend.

We recently purchased new blinds for the baby room in Rubislaw ward at AMH NHS Grampian
This will allow privacy for bereaved parents when spending time with their precious baby π
Lovely drive out to Meldrum Academy this morning to meet 3 S2nd pupils to speak about Sands.
The girls are taking part YPI Scotland if successful they can secure Β£3,000.

Back at AMH today to speak to recent midwifery and nurse graduates about Sands and the importance of good bereavement.

Representatives from the company were given a tour to learn more about the service Rubislaw provide & support Sands offer.
Great day at the Health and Wellbeing Event at the Beach Ballroom raising awareness about our work. Over 1000 attendees, 60 stalls, speakers and taster sessions from health and wellbeing organisations all over. Well done to the organisers ππ§‘

A huge thankyou to all the staff at Elmbank Medical Practice NHS Grampian for their generous donation of Β£312 to SANDS. The money was raised from a raffle in the practice. We are so grateful for the donation and this money will be well used to help bereaved parents. Thankyou!
