More volume doesn't build more muscle, because volume as the sum of (weight x reps x sets) is meaningless.

But more volume as the sum of sets taken close to failure, can absolutely build more muscle.

And that I haven't had any issues building muscle without carbs.

It's time we accept that some are simply going to feel and operate better without them.

1. Find a smith machine
2. Grab a bench
3. Sit down

When you're standing upright, your core is going to be the first to fail.

Not the delts.

You build a muscle by taking it to failure.

You don't need high reps to maximise hypertrophy.

You can certainly get great results while training in the 10-15 rep range, but there's no reason why you can't at least get the same growth while lifting 4-6.

Because the consequences of high reps, metabolic stress and muscle
