Most of my customers are regulars, so I have a box full of keys, and alarm codes in my head, for the when emergency strikes.
Just this week I've had, help!!! the keys stuck. And when you passing.

So I just myself in, and get on with the job in hand πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

I do have a soft spot for coins minted in Bury St Edmunds. Maybe because it not so very far away.
Particulary the coins bearing only the moneyers name, unique for the coins of this time.
Robert de Hadleie ( 3 name variations altogether) for Edward I.

Can't remember the last time I saw a printed bottle. A friend over the road used to collect them and had a window cill full of them 😊

This is lovely. Just been to see a customer, I knew they nested last year, but apparently the Great Tits have been using this for around 6 years now πŸ€—

Albert Scarfe Poster, Thoroughfare, Woodbridge.
From around 1880's - 90's.
Found screwed up, tucked under a skirting board, to fill a gap.

Q is for.... Queen Victoria, penny.

I found this early in my detecting career.
In my uncles garden in Norfolk. Part of which was once the railway line from Kings Lynn to Dereham, closed in the 1960's. I wonder if was lost by a rail worker.

Does anyone else stare at this pile of Henry III pennies, picking out the Irish and Scottish (Alexander III), or is it just me πŸ˜†

Baedeker in 1915: Great Britain and Turkey are the only states of Europe in which currency is arranged without much reference to the decimal system. πŸ€“

In 2022 I found 2 gold items.
The padlock on 1st January, and the coin on 31st December. With an intriguing link, both tokens of affection.
What are the odds on that happening πŸ˜†

M. W. From BAM 3rd October 1899

Some of my currently unidentified hammered. Some will be close, but not close enough. I occasionally dip in and take another look. Most will be missing the mark or detail which ties it down. Quite often it's crown damage that stops you in your tracks, the fine details missing.
