So sad to hear of the passing of the incredible Rob Burrow.

Rob Burrow was an all time great as a player and he was beyond an inspiration in the amazing work he then did raising awareness and funds for the Motor Neurone Disease community.

Ending tax breaks for private schools is the right thing to do.

It would raise over £1.5 BILLION

It would raise funds to recruit 6,500 more teachers.

It will help the 93% of kids who use state schools.

No wonder the Tory press is up in arms over Labour's plans to do it!

Busy day preparing for the General Election and going through my files I came across this with one of my heroes, the legend that is Dennis Skinner!

In the week since the Election was called, it’s been great to have been out in our community, talking with local residents about my work as the Labour MP for Leeds East since 2015 and the chance people have on Thursday 4th July to kick out the Tories after 14 years of failure.

From Thursday, Parliament will be dissolved and so there will be no MPs until after the General Election on 4th July.
