As #NationalPoliceWeek comes to a close,  I want to take a moment to thank the men and women in uniform who experience life threatening risks every day.

This past Friday, I recognized the officers from my district for their service and sacrifice.

The best part of my day is being with constituents. This week families from Beaumont and Desert Hot Springs visited my office in Washington DC!

For too long, communities in #CA25 have been impacted by “F” grade air quality.

In March, U.S. EPA announced a rule to strengthen air quality standards that will reduce harmful impacts. My Republican colleagues are undermining the U.S. EPA’s ability to protect the constituents I serve.

In honor of #NationalPoliceWeek , I want to take a moment to honor the men & women who protect our communities, and who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our officers put their lives on the line every day, we must ensure that we do our best to provide them care & support they deserve.

Earlier this month, I had the honor ofaccepting an award from the National Council of Urban Indian Health! As an emergency medicine physician, your support is a testament to our work to expand health care access for our Indigenous communities. Thank you for this incredible honor.

All workers deserve to bargain for better wages & benefits. But negotiations for over 100K flight attendants are being unfairly drawn out. That’s why, I signed onto Rep. Melanie Stansbury’s letter to the National Mediation Board urging the resolution of these disputes.  #UnionStrong  💪
