Child labor is wrong, and we need to enforce laws that protect our children. Period.

If a large company who is receiving a multi-million dollar contract from the USDA is found to have violated child labor laws -they should be no longer eligible for government contracts.

Twenty-nine Republicans just voted for $30 billion in cuts to #SNAP in the #FarmBill

When I said hunger is a policy choice, this is what I meant. Twenty-nine of my colleagues just voted to lower how much hungry families have for food.

I urge them to reconsider their position.

The #FarmBill 's cost-neutrality provisions amount to $30 billion in cuts from SNAP.

Over 42 million people rely on SNAP. Almost half are children. We cannot abandon these hungry people.

Climate-smart farming is smart farming, & we should support resiliency efforts by our small farmers

Farming can be risky. No one can predict challenges that will negatively impact our farmers.

Dept. of Agriculture has used its CCC authority to respond to supply chain disruptions & help our farmers in need.

A strong #FarmBill would continue to allow these practices so farmers aren't alone.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, this #FarmBill would cut SNAP benefits by $30 billion.

In my district, over 39,000 households rely on SNAP. Reducing hunger should be a priority. We need to get this RIGHT.

My constituents deserve a fair, bipartisan #FarmBill that supports producers of all sizes, builds climate resilience, and protects hungry families.

We have the ability to produce a Farm Bill that supports all Americans.

House Republicans tried to hide cuts to SNAP in the 'Miscellaneous' section of the Farm Bill.

Nutrition is not 'miscellaneous.' It should be a priority in this country.
