The #ISS again last night. Super cool flare of the starboard array. Crew-8 is also visible thanks to the station rising in the west, giving a ~front-facing view. Poorish conditions with R+ filter. #telescope #astrophotography
The Space Station last night as it flew over the UK, photographed with my 16' scope. SpaceX Crew-8 isn't visible having relocated to the space-facing zenith port ahead of Boeing Space Starliner's arrival.

3 aircraft, same way, same dayโฆthe accuracy of modern nav systems is incredible, all bang on the airway centreline. Beautiful #contrails not #chemtrails streaming behind ๐๐ป
That is human-made space debris, an old rocket upper stage, orbiting Earth. The smart folks at Astroscale have just flown up next to it, proving their tech. Next time they'll grab & deorbit it, cleaning up a big piece. An excellent start!
