I am shocked, shocked to find elected officials make it very hard to qualify petitions. Indeed, it should be difficult, but David Colborne suggests it is unreasonably so and that the laws in Nevada make it nearly impossible to qualify one.
Here Nevada Independent we are paying close attention to races for the Legislature because the GOP governor is trying to prevent a Dem supermajority that would render him virtually helpless. A lot is at stake.

Really interesting piece by Gabby Birenbaum on a group that measures effectiveness of federal lawmakers, which is difficult to do because there are so many intangibles. The Nevada delegation did pretty, pretty good.
