Let us even now be drawn by hope! Through our witness, may hope spread to all those who anxiously desire it. May our lives say to them: “Hope in the Lord! Hold firm, take heart, and hope in the Lord!” (Ps 27:14). #Jubilee2025
By virtue of the hope in which we were saved, we know for certain that the history of humanity and our own individual stories are not doomed to a dead end or a dark abyss. Our lives are directed to an encounter with the Lord of glory. #Jubilee2025
The #AscensionOfTheLord tells us that Jesus is alive among us in a new way. He is now present in every place and time, and is close to each of us. We are never alone: we have an Advocate who guides us, waits for us, and defends us.
In the face of a future that may seem dark, let us strive to sow hope and do good, in the conviction that life can be lived differently and that peace is possible. #GeneralAudience
Prayer, the opening of our hearts to the Most High, is essential for purifying ourselves of selfishness, falseness, and injustice. Those who pray receive peace in their hearts and must inevitably become its witness and messenger. #YearOfPrayer
A true friend never abandons you, even when you make mistakes. They correct you, perhaps scold you, but they forgive you and do not leave you. In the #GospelOfTheDay (Jn 15:9-17), Jesus tells us that this is exactly what we are to Him: friends.
During this month of May, may we entrust to the Blessed Virgin Mary our personal and family matters, as well as the suffering of those who fall victim to war. Let us #PrayTogether for the Church, all nations, and for peace in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The three theological virtues are great gifts of God. Without them, we might be prudent, just, strong, and temperate, but we would not have a heart that loves even when it is not loved, nor would we have hope that dares against all hope. #GeneralAudience
Today we remember #SaintJosephTheWorker . Let us ask the Lord to renew and increase our faith, so that our every task may begin in Him and find completion in Him.
Let us #PrayTogether that women and men religious, and seminarians, grow in their own vocational journey through human, pastoral, spiritual, and community formation, which leads them to be credible witnesses of the Gospel. #PrayerIntention #ClickToPray
Let us #PrayTogether for martyred Ukraine, for Palestine and Israel, for the Rohingya, and for many people who suffer due to war and violence. May the God of peace enlighten hearts, so that the desire for dialogue and reconciliation may grow in everyone.
