I enjoyed this cosy exhibition at the Peltz Gallery: Paper Cuts - Arts, Bureaucracy & Silenced Histories in Colonial India. Curated by surya bowyer, exposing interesting layers of #history . By lovely park with statue to #tagore . #India

What to do at 2.30pm on Tuesday 4th June in #Beaconsfield ? Join me at the library on Reynolds Road, talking about writing thrillers & cosy crime. And remember the library doesn’t sell books, it gives them away (temporarily) for FREE! #books #authorlife #crimefiction
It’s fashionable, portable & the must-have from Nick Wallis to have poking coyly from your bag or pocket…
I’m tempted to enter myself, even though I already have everything by Tony Kent #TheShadowNetwork - check out Gerrards Cross Books - a lovely local bookshop
One of my favourite poets Imtiaz Dharker is appearing at Khushwant Singh Literary Festival London soon. She’s has various v good collections, but I’ve been reading her (here’s a wee bit) in Pádraig Ó Tuama’s Poetry Unbound: 50 Poems to Open Your World collection from Canongate this morning. It delivers.
Just thinking about how painstakingly James Nunn researched the era & was inspired by this 1920’s matchbox label to design the cover and typeface for #TheTainted .
AI will NEVER be capable of being half as wonderful.
