Year 3 investigated whether different materials stop magnets from being attracted to each other 🧲🧐

Year 3 enjoyed visiting the Methodist Gardens this week where we collected date to put into a bar chart in our maths journals 📊

Y1 are really enjoying their CLPE text ‘10 Things I Can Do To Help The World’. In ICT, we used various toolbars to insert images, underline, change font and colour to create some posters. We then created some posters during our English lesson.

Year 2 were learning the art of trust today in their PE lesson “Team Building”

This week the children in Reception planted cress seeds as part of their topic on ‘Growing’. They are now excited as they watch them begin to sprout.

In our team building activities during PE, Year One collaborated to conquer a series of challenges and games by effectively communicating with one another.

Year 6 loved the Caving Challenge in PE today, especially the super cave at the end of the lesson. They showed amazing teamwork! 😄

Year 2 were imagining they were flying through the air to help them write their pieces of writing including similes about flying

Year 4 worked together in PE this week as part of their problem solving unit. Communication and thinking outside of the box were what helped them to succeed.

Year 6 were introduced to 3D modelling on the computer today. They had to use the perspective, zoom and move tools.

Today, year 3 did some guided drawing in our history lesson and all had a go at drawing the Parthenon 🏛️
