The new Berwick Hospital will be displaying the rocking horse that was donated by a patient over 40 years ago to keep the memories of it alive.

It was originally played with by young children in the minor injuries unit but it was removed when COVID hit.

Surgeons and researchers at Northumbria have launched a UK-wide study to investigate how different factors may affect outcomes of hip and knee replacements.

The study aims to identify patients who may be more likely to have a worse outcome.
