It pains me to say this with every fiber in my body, but between The Sphere, the Rangers and Knicks, you've kind of got to hand it to James Dolan.

Just go to a state school. The premium you're paying for elite private colleges vs. the better public schools is for social clout and not the quality of the education. And that's worth a lot less now that people have figured out that elite higher ed is cringe.

The only time I formally got in trouble for a tweet in 10 years at ABC/ESPN/Disney for something about Michael Avenatti (I think they worried that he was actually crazy enough to sue me) but I had a lot of bangers so I forget which one.

I have no broader comment on NPR, which is a big, complicated news organization, but this really annoyed me. It's not very effective to respond to an allegation of groupthink by pointing out that similar news outlets behaved similarly!

Sharp Nate Silver analysis of what’s known (and still unknown) in Ohtani case.

I read the government's complaint, and I still have questions about the Ohtani case.

* Did Ippei Mizuhara lose $16 million or $41 million?
* And how did Ohtani not notice $16 million go missing?
