This Christmas certainly won't be a winter wonderland for us, but that doesn't mean we can't be as festive as these town names. Anyone roasting chestnuts on an open fire in Chestnut, Kentucky?

Temperatures will continue to drop through the 20s overnight, reaching the upper teens in some areas early Tuesday morning. Any lingering moisture on untreated roads can quickly refreeze, especially elevated surfaces like bridges, ramps, and overpasses! Use caution if traveling.

We've had one of the heavier snow bursts of the day go through Frankfort within the last few minutes. This cell will head toward Lexington over the next hour, causing temporary reduced visibilities and light accumulations on grassy surfaces.
