NOAA Sunspot Region 3664 just produced another X-class flare...

The H2O concentration at 10hPA has been off the charts since late 2021 thanks to the Hunga Tonga Hunga eruption 🌋.
Did this have an impact on the Aurora?
Maybe 🤔… perhaps the abundance of H2O molecules in the upper atmosphere allow for more widespread red and green auroras.

Another G5 Solar Storm Watch has been issued by NOAA for May 12th!
So, if you can't see the aurora through the clouds tonight, you'll have tomorrow night to see it again.
As for the cloud forecast tomorrow(Sunday) night, things look much more favorable as a surface high pressure
