Today Ireland, Norway, and Spain have recognised the State of Palestine. The state was formally declared in Algiers in 1988 with a statement written by the great poet Mahmoud Darwish. What this recognition will mean in concrete terms for Palestinians remains to be seen. 🇵🇸
