Just got back from ChemCon 2024 at CBU Chemistry (@scienceatlantic). The students put together an amazing conference. The presenters were outstanding. Proud of Mackenzie for winning a presentation award! The flight home was truly fun (talking to someone from my highschool).

Had a fun evening at the SFU Alumni event in St Johns last night. There are approx. 80 SFU grads in NL. Looking forward to the next meet up.

I had the pleasure of going to CELTIC2024 this year. It was an inspiring meeting to say the least. This was a family of chemists getting together to talk about solutions for global challenges.

Today was our honours students presentations MemorialChemistry. Watching the students get up and talk about the amazing work that they did over the last two semesters is inspiring. Congrats everyone! And congrats to our own Mackenzie for doing a great job this semester.

This was a blast and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to be an external examiner!

“Solid” treatment by Air Canada in the Toronto airport. I asked if the passes I have with my credit card would work for the international lounge. I was told to read and answer a skill testing question based on what was on my AC app. AC, we’re not happy until you’re not happy.
