I'm so thankful God promises He can use hurt for good.

It’s okay to tell Him we don’t like any of the pain. But we can't let the pain cause us to pull away from Him. We can trust Him, even when we don’t understand Him.

Lord, I trust You. You know me like no other. You love me like no other. And that combination assures me that You know what I need and when I need it.

Maybe this reminder is for you today ❤️

We don’t have to keep pretending we’re fine when we’re not fine. But we do need to stop and face what’s really holding us back from moving forward. Lord, help us with this.

What better way is there to end our day than with our hearts and minds focused on Truth?

I want to spend less time asking God for answers and more time listening to what He has to say.

No suggestions. No solutions. Simply my heart listening for His voice.

And today is the perfect time to start.

Our imperfections will never override God’s promises. Because God’s promises are not dependent on our ability to always choose well, but rather on His ability to use well.

Remember, today has an assignment. So, let's do that well. But don't try to also cram in tomorrow's assignment and steal today's joy. One day at a time. Hold fast to the joy in the journey.

When life stirs up feelings of uncertainty, fear & exhaustion, let's hold on to the hope of Psalm 145:18, “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

Our hard times can be holy times, close-to-God times. And wherever God is, good is being worked.

So thankful we can bring it all to God. The good parts of us. The broken parts of us. The bitter and the beautiful. He can handle it all.

Fear only has as much access to our hearts as we allow. And today's a good day to tell fear, “Stand down in the name of Jesus. You are messing with the wrong girl this time!”

We don't have to dance with the devil’s lies.

Lord, help us make peace with the fact we will disappoint people. Help us make peace with the fact other people will disappoint us. And give us the perspective that not every disappointment is epic.

Let's not just declare that we have faith. Let's live out loud that we believe God is good, faithful and trustworthy. Let's stop running to fix things our way so that we can stop and fix our eyes on God.

He sees. He knows. He cares. We can rest assured.

Today is a new day. This minute is a new minute. The choice before you is a chance for redemption. You can make it count!

Sincerity and simplicity... two keys to dismantling the spiritual frustration that can so easily come along with Bible study and prayer.

I'm so thankful God isn’t looking for us to impress Him. He's simply inviting us to spend open and honest time with Him.

Friend, it won’t always be this hard. ❤️

Scripture tells us repeatedly that God is with us, in us, and for us.

This truth must be the filter through which we process our situation.

Someone might bump into our happy today.

So, let's decide in advance to honor God. I want my reaction to be a reflection of my love for Jesus. I know you do too.

But since I don't want us to chance it, I'm saying choose it. Let’s choose the love & grace we'll need then, now.

I know how hard it is to be in a low valley you can't see your way out of. But there’s always a way with God.

Stay close to Him. Stay close to people who love Him. He will make a miraculous way, friend. One that you couldn’t have imagined. One that is perfectly timed & planned.

More rest.
Less stress.

This can't be about waiting for my circumstances to settle and then hoping this is on the other side.

It really is a choice I have to make.

Let’s ask Jesus to show us how we can truly rest in Him this week.
