Four million overseas tourists visited Scotland in 2023, 15% more than before the pandemic, new Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures show.
Visitors spent a record £3.59 billion, a 17% increase after accounting for inflation than 2019, with Scotland showing larger growth than the UK as a whole.

✅The Scottish Government Cladding Remediation Bill has passed stage 3 in @scotparl.
🛠️The Bill will give new powers to assess and remediate buildings with unsafe cladding and allows for the creation of a Responsible Developers Scheme and Cladding Assurance Register.
We want everyone in Scotland to get the financial support they’re eligible for.
This new report will help @ScotGov to support people to overcome any barriers they face and get the Social Security Scotland benefits they’re entitled to.
