The anti-Israel boycott movement looks so extreme and ugly when it targets a singer at Eurovision, pubs hosting Eurovision parties, families going to McDonalds, or Israeli concerts or plays I suspect it makes most of the public more, not less, sympathetic to Israel.

If any other country than Israel had suffered a terror attack like October 7th they would win #Eurovision2024 as an act of solidarity.
All these performers bullying a young Jewish performer, to show how ‘good’ they are, yet no mention of the hostages still held by Hamas.

Rwandan genocide (800k dead)
Cambodian genocide (2-3m dead)
Tigray, Yemen, Syria, Congo, Somalia, Sudan, Iran/Iraq...untold millions of dead civilians.

I can literally think of no event less suited to an intelligent discussion of the Middle East than the Eurovision song contest. It's like attempting to better understand quantum physics by watching the Horse Of The Year Show.
