Alex Russell Rik Arends @Lady_Ada_King There does really need to be a lot more teaching on how to write performant JS and how this is impacted by the actual data representations under the hood. As well as how to write tests to actually gauge relative performance of code. If you can't measure it, you can't improve it.

Mapping 5-8cm voxels in octomaps would be at or better quality than hololens, and achievable with ROS based tooling.
