Donald Trump said that receiving a Purple Heart as a gift is much easier than being awarded it for being wounded during military service:

Today, I read a post from a Ukrainian girl who went abroad for the first time during the war. She described her emotions when she saw the civilian plane. She wrote that she had been crying for half an hour. But these words touched me most:
'I was crying

Today, we join our grief with gratitude.
