EAST FARLEIGH: A man was arrested after driving his Citroen van onto the tracks at Farleigh Lane level crossing while allegedly drunk last night. A breath test carried out by police reportedly showed the male had nearly twice as much alcohol as legally permitted.

FOLKESTONE update: Police have arrested two males and a female on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs following an incident at Cambridge Gardens around 4pm today. Armed officers attended due to concerns a firearm might have been at the address.

FOLKESTONE: Armed police currently at an incident in Cambridge Gardens. The road has been closed to the public. One person believed to have been arrested.

BROMLEY: A lorry collided with the railway bridge on Bromley Road by Shortlands railway station around midday today.

M25: A car that had been chased by Kent Police officers struck a motorcyclist on the M25 at J30 near Lakeside, Essex, around 11.40pm last night. The rider died shortly after from his injuries. Kent Police has made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

A2 BRENLEY CORNER: Reports of a crash on the A2 Boughton Bypass London-bound near Brenley Roundabout around 10.30pm tonight. Unconfirmed report of a car leaving the carriageway and hitting a tree. Air ambulance took casualty to a London hospital.

SITTINGBOURNE: Firefighters attended a blaze, allegedly involving a large number of old mattresses, behind Kent Beds & Sofas on the High Street. The fire broke out around 8.35pm last night. The smoke could be seen for miles. Cause of the fire is not yet known. Video: Lisa Deacon.

SWANLEY: Five fire engines and a bulk water unit were sent to a blaze at an industrial premises in Hockenden Lane which started around 11pm last night. Multiple trailer units were on fire and arson has not been ruled out as the cause.

THAMESMEAD: A Lexus RX450h somehow ended up in the canal beside Crossway in Thamesmead around 5am this morning.

A2 EBBSFLEET: Serious crash involving a motorcyclist on the A2 London-bound near the A2260 turn-off for Ebbsfleet around 8.10pm tonight. A2 reportedly closed both ways.

FOLKESTONE update: Police have reportedly detained a man who allegedly climbed onto a roof in Dover Road tonight. Road now said to be back open.

SWANLEY: Unconfirmed reports of an armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza last night.

SITTINGBOURNE update: A boy aged 12 was arrested after a teenage school girl, thought to be in Year 10, was stabbed in Adelaide Drive around 3.55pm yesterday. The girl is in a stable condition. Police seek witnesses etc. Call Police on 01634 792209, Ref 46/46593/24.

SITTINGBOURNE: Unconfirmed report that a teenage girl — possibly making her way home from school — was stabbed in Adelaide Drive around 3.45pm today. Westlands School is not far from where the unconfirmed assault happened. An air ambulance took the casualty to a London hospital.
