I really like almost everything the PWHL has done this season, but I can't stand the rule where the first-place team 'gets' to choose its first-round opponent. That team doesn't 'get to choose', it's 'forced to choose' and puts it in an untenable situation.

People bet really money on these games, with the NHL's blessing. Hockey people's livelihoods are profoundly affected by these calls. This is an abomination.
