This happened because of my access needs over a year ago and I honestly felt like quitting my career.

I’m glad I kept going. But having jobs come in and having to say ‘can you contribute £2k?’ so that I can safely work seems completely unfair on everyone.

Today I had to explain the process of reporting disability hate crime on social media to my nephew & how in all honesty, very little gets done. It’s the first time he’s had an insight into the ‘other’ side of my social media & potentially his future being neurodivergent.

This will only make sense to some people, but it’s absolute madness that CRESTA in Newcastle is closing. A fatigue clinic which has changed so many peoples lives, including mine. I can’t believe that we have more people with fatigue conditions than ever & such a lifeline is gone.
