Yes, read Brad Snyder’s super Felix Frankfurter biography.

And this thread on Robert H. Jackson is great.
For more, read his very autobiographical book That Man.
And join the many (thank you!) on my . Hundreds of my essays on him are here:

Hey, TV, it would be easy to improve your news coverage by showing on a Columbia University campus map what’s happening where. CNN Breaking News

Trespass, property destruction, and other crimes are serious. But Columbia University and NYPD have the power. Hope that they use it with wisdom, including great restraint. It is, even now, not too late to choose non-violence.

I hope and believe that a Supreme Court majority, and perhaps more than five justices, will focus on Trump’s brazen immunity claim *in this Jan. 6 crime case* & reject it. The U.S. is a “no man is above the law” country. The Court properly will protect that.
Please.

Angelo Herndon's conviction for attempting to incite insurrection for organizing unemployed Black and white workers overturned, 5-4, on free speech & assembly grounds in Herndon v. Lowry (1937), an important precedent about the right to protest and my next book W. W. Norton & Company.

Finally. We can put this “the ICJ ruled plausible genocide” bullshit to bed.

I’ve been arguing this for months, but in case you don’t believe me, here’s the actual President of the ICJ who delivered the ruling:

“It didn’t decide that the claim of genocide was plausible”.
