If they are saying cedaw don't have the funds to go to court then could we not go to civil court and pay the fee. It would cost the government a fortune to send lawyers to every case. I for one am not voting for any party they are not trying hard enough to get this done with
So does all this talk of not going ahead with cedaw that 1950s women have been shafted again. I do not understand why they cannot make dwp sit round a table and mediate. He should not be able get away with this and I will say again no vote from me until this is sorted
I don't know about you 1950s women but I will not be voting unless we get backing for a remedy for us. How many 1950s are going to back this to send clear message
1950s women Cedaw have served 21 day notice to dwp for refusing to mediate.i read this yesterday so that might be a good thing. If dwp do not agree it goes to court
I am 1 of many 1950s women and I will gladly accept the compensation they offer as long as they pay all the money back what I've paid in and I've worked 47 years. I expect 4 years pension back pay. Ni back pay and the widows pension I would have had from 60.i want what I am owed
Just a thought but I am getting fed up of all this bs. Why do we not go through civil court now they will have to address it then. It's a bloody insult to offer what they have in compensation.
1950s women all over the news. They are talking about how much it's going to cost tax payers. They have robbed us of billions so it's not tax payers money it's money they robbed off 1950s women. Just to be clear I've paid in for 48 years and still paying to this day
Is it me or am I crackers but this does not feel like a victory to me. I've lost more than 50k. If this was a private pension the government would be making them pay more. What they are offering should be in that region minium 50k+compensation for 1950s women
1950s women How far have we got with waspi and backto60. I thought things were finally moving but I have not heard anything at all. When is the result of waspi going to be released and when I'd backto60 going to court
I don't know who thinks that 10000 is fair compensation for waspi when I lost 6 years pension + part of my widows pension and all that ni I've paid which equates to 5 times more of the 10000 and I got to know at 59 just 6 mths before I was due to retire. So think about that.
I've been robbed of 6 years pension and I want it all back + ni I've paid since turning 60+ compensation for all the stress this has caused. I found out about this 2 weeks after my husband died I was 59 to be told I had 6 more years to work. Had to sell my home and it's been hard
I work for a large company who have now opted out of national living wage so from April I will be working for minimum wages. So if large companies opt out what chance has small businesses got
Post Office scandal Mel stride just been on gmb There's going to be a enquiry. This will get swept under the carpet and ignored just like 1950s women. This is what this goverment do. Time they were gone
